Sarasota Travel and Tourism
Each year, the Sarasota Film Festival draws audiences from local, national and international markets to Sarasota and her Islands. After enjoying Sarasota’s glittering sunsets and white sandy beaches, these guests spread the word about a cultural community that includes educational museums, operas, ballets and theatres.
To promote this cultural tourism in our region, the Sarasota Film Festival receives funding from the Tourist Development Tax allocated by the Tourist Development Council and administered by the Sarasota Arts Council.
