THE CALL FOR ENTRIES FOR THE 2010 SARASOTA FILM FESTIVAL IS NOW CLOSED FOR ALL CATEGORIES EXCEPT YOUNG FILMMAKERS SHOWCASE.  YFS IS ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS UNTIL MARCH 1, 2010.


The Sarasota Film Festival is now accepting submissions for our 12th Annual event, April 9-18, 2010. Filmmakers must visit Withoutabox to submit their films to the festival.

This years deadlines are as follows:
Submissions Deadline: January 15, 2010 (normal processing fee) Late Submissions Deadline: January 30, 2010 (normal processing fee plus penalty)

We are accepting films in the following categories:

Short Film (under 40 Minutes in length)
Narrative Feature (Fiction film over 40 minutes in length)
Documentary Film (Non-fiction over 40 minutes in length)
World Cinema (Fiction film over 40 minutes in length produced in full outside of the USA)
Sarasota and Florida Filmmakers
(Films of any length made by residents of Sarasota County, Manatee County or the State of Florida.)
Young Filmmakers Showcase (maxiumum 10 minutes in length by students 18 and under)
