"End of Fear, The"
Film: End of Fear, The
In 1986, a man entered Amersdam's Stedelijk Art Museum with a utility knife and committed one of the most infamous crimes in contemporary art history -the murder of Barnett Newman's abstract masterpiece: "Who's Afraid of Red, Yellow, and Blue III". THE END OF FEAR, under the direction of Barbara Visser, recreates the drama and begs two questions of immense conceptual complexity and import: what is art, and when does it cease to exist once created and destroyed?
Directed by Barbar Visser
