About this film

Even at 90, Marceline Loridan-Ivens, legendary French film director, author, producer, actor, captivates the screen. Filmed during her last years living in Paris, MARCELINE. A WOMAN. A CENTURY spans her broad arc of life from Holocaust survivor to political activist to combatively critical filmmaker. Looking back on the momentous events she filmed - the Algerian and Vietnam Wars, the Chinese Cultural Revolution - MARCELINE is a charming chronicle of a remarkable witness to the 20th century. Preceded by CINEMATOGRAPHER.
